Have you ever come across kink and bdsm in mainstream media? And by media I mean television, movies and the streaming services. And by mainstream I mean the vanilla world, not the porn industry.
It's rare, it's magical and if I get so much as a spidey-sense that an image or a gif is from the mainstream world, I hunt that fuckin' clip down until I find the scene, the episode or the movie...I just need to see it!
Like this one, I came across the other day. Gawd damn this is beyond hot! It made my toes curl and my tummy flood with butterflies.
I could tell immediately from the backdrop that this had to be from a TV show or a movie. The expression on her face in the image below screams actress, not porn star.
It was bittersweet hunting. Yes, I found the clip and the movie is called "Just Sex, Nothing Personal" from 2018. Alas, the trailer although hot, was in a language of Eastern Europe...Russian or Czech maybe. There was a great scene when this little thing gets bound with like an extension cord and before the gag goes in, you see the cord tighten from above and her cute little boots immediately thrust to tip-toe.
It's like seeing a unicorn in the wild! What makes finding bdsm in a vanilla backdrop so alluring to me that I have to hunt it down, grade it and assess how good it is?
Fifty Shades of Grey doesn't count and never impressed me either. Bdsm does not have to be portrayed as by-product of earlier trauma or abuse in one's life. I think those movies and those books were anchored to the fact that Christian Grey was a submissive sex slave or abused by a milfy older woman or something? Which then normalizes what he participates in by being able to say, "I am the way I am because of..."
Just sayin'. Sometimes there isn't a "because of..."
I know every shade of grey from 50 to 500 and have known, ten years before those books came out.
Anyway, back to the unicorn hunting.
The Secretary (2002). Maggie Gyllenhaal takes some pretty decent spanking and hefty doses of humiliation. I didn't hate this movie, I liked the way she portrayed this character, but again...Maggie's character has some demons to unpack.
In the show Billions it seems like she is in a Female Led Relationship (FLR) with her hubby, maybe on the more extreme scale as a Dominatrix?
I think in one of the opening episodes she puts a cigarette out on him then rocks a pee on the burnt skin while he is tied up and gagged. Not bad...I didn't follow the show I just hunted the good parts.

Exit to Eden (1994). This was an absolutely ridiculous movie! They cast Dana Delany as the supreme Goddess Dominatrix. She's like the sweetest looking, girl-next-door, Stacy's Mom type of woman.

I would say whoever wrote that particular scene and a few others in the movie, DOES know a thing or two about spankos and kink. FFWD to the good bits, you'll find some. The rest is ridiculous.
